The photo above, which was taken in Monument Valley AZ, is one of my all time favorites. Monument Valley is my favorite of all the national parks. I find the vast landscape majestic. We have experienced hard rain, wind, dust devils, rainbows, sunrises, sunsets….. I seem to find a new favorite place each time I visit there.
Many of the photos in the galleries below were taken in National Parks of Canyonlands, Monument Valley, Arches, and Capitol Reiff. We can travel a few thousand miles on one of our trips, and many photos were taken on the roads between the national parks. The openness of the southwest has always attracted me because there is so much to see and photograph. From one spot you can watch 4 or 5 different weather systems happening at the same time. I never tire of the southwest landscape.
Also of interest is our Florida Gallery, made from several trips there too.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoy taking them!
